Paul G. Chandler is recognized as a global leader in using the arts to build bridges, toward fostering peace, harmony and wholeness in our world.

He founded CARAVAN in Cairo, Egypt, in 2009, using the arts to address the growing discord between the Middle East and the West. CARAVAN now bridges divides worldwide, with a special focus on contemporary artists of Middle Eastern/North African, Indigenous (e.g., Native American), and Black (African and Diaspora) heritage.

CARAVAN’s artistic initiatives have resulted in unprecedented partnerships with renowned and emerging artists, using art to transform our world. CARAVAN experience shows that the arts can deepen our understanding of each other across cultures and spiritual traditions.
